It is my honour to be the President for the Citra administration (since 2022). It has been a pleasure to work with a stellar committee who together form years of experience in textiles, art & design, media, communications & business. Together we hope to grow CITRA as the ultimate go-to information centre for all things traditional textiles in Malaysia.
Marini Ramlan

President for Citra since 2022. With her background in Visual Communications, Marini has been able to balance two indsutries in her career - Media and Art. She has 20 years of experience in Broadcast Media (TV, Video, Film & Animation) and is now a practicing Multi-Artist, inspired by textiles and nature.
Treasurer since 2019. Background in graphic desig with over 40 years of experience in Media, Advertising and Communications. Her works has been seen across all platforms from TV, Theatre to print. She is actively CEO for Penumbra Communications.
Co-Founder. Textile expert (Traditional and Modern, Surface pattern design, Tapestry, Fashion). A former lecturer with 30 years of experience, Fatimah now spends her time consulting and sharing her knowledge to people and other organisations. She strongly believes that knowledge must be shared to the next generation and is happy to encourage anyone keen to learn more.
Former editor of The News Straits Times (Lifestyle and Entertainment), Aishah has decades of experience in Media and Communications. She is now an independent, managing her won media company and writing books for notable people of Malaysia.
An entrepenuer and textile appreciator from Kota Bharu, Roslan dedicates his time and effort to raise funding for the association as well is the link to the textile businesses & makers of east coast Malaysia.
Salikin has been advocating "traditional fashion" for decades in Malaysia. He now nurtures young talents to flourish in their businesses and consults the association in all things to do with traditional fashion & design,
Datuk Zakiah Ahmad is a formidable force. She has been in leadership roles for most of her illustrious career serving the government of Malaysia. A former DG for Kraftangan Malaysia, she now offers her vast experience and insight in crafts various bodies including other associations in the country. Datuk Zakiah is passionate about traditional crafts and wishes to be part of its sustainability . She is a valued advisor Citra on various matters from administration to the business of craft.
